Tuition & Fees


The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra is a non-profit organization.  Tuition for TMYO is $420/year, which may be broken down to $210/semester.  Tuition is due and payable during the first three weeks of rehearsal each semester.  


Please note:  If your family falls into a financial hardship throughout the season, please contact Nancy Lorenzen, operations manager, nancy.lorenzen@tmyo.org. If necessary, payment plans and scholarships based on financial need are available to assist TMYO families with tuition.


Tuition Policy: Students who have not paid tuition during the first three weeks of rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in seating auditions.  In addition, students who have not paid tuition when due will be required to have permission from the executive director in order to continue participating in TMYO.   Any student with an outstanding balance owed to TMYO will not be allowed to audition for future TMYO seasons until the outstanding tuition balances have been paid in full.
