SUMMARY:TMYO Summer String Camp
DESCRIPTION:In addition to a summer orchestra session\, this camp will offer several elective courses\, including but not limited to Sectionals- Work with Hillsborough Community College\, local area professionals\, and TMYO coaches. \nImprov Orchestra– Learn how to play and create arrangements by ear using only lyrics and a bass line. Bring those new skills together as a team. \nConducting- Learn the basics of conducting and discover a deeper understanding of leading an ensemble World Drumming -Participate in an energetic and interactive African drumming session. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra presents our first TMYO Summer String Camp! This camp will give musicians an opportunity to enrich their lives by providing an immersive musical experience. It will allow young musicians to build community through musical interactions in a fun\, exciting\, and encouraging environment. \nWhen: June 6th-10th 2022Where: HCC Ybor 1411 E. 11th Ave. Tampa\, FL. 33605Time: 9am-5pm\, Monday-FridayTuition for the week is $250. \nRegistration for this camp will close on May 14\, 2022. \nPayment is to be completed no later than June 1\, 2022\, via online invoicing from Beth Waligorski.
