TMYO Virtual Concert

V-TMYO parents, family, and friends are invited to join us for a virtual celebration and tribute to our V-TMYO student musicians, as we recognize their extraordinary dedication to music, artistry, and perseverance. ALONE, TOGETHER – ONE MUSICAL VOICE
Our Mission for Virtual TMYO was simple. We wanted to create an opportunity for our members to engage in online rehearsals with their friends, while receiving inspiration and instruction from their favorite teachers. The TMYO Conducting team combined efforts to give students a weekly rehearsal routine that will dive deep into the musical experience, by focusing on the process to teach musicianship, historical context, and sharpen instrument technique. Our program Timeline was October 5, 2020 – March 29, 2021. Culminating with a final Virtual Orchestra Video.
CONCERT TICKET DONATION: HELP us recover some of the ticket revenue lost this season. Every penny donated is vital to our mission of ensuring a quality music education for all of our students. A cash gift to TMYO assists us where we need it most. You can make donation in honor of someone else or as a tribute.
V – STRING ORCHESTRA
This group of musicians and coaches met on ZOOM Mondays 5:30pm – 6:45pm.
This program included weekly zoom rehearsals focused on the chosen virtual string orchestra video repertoire. The students in this orchestra play at the Symphonic Strings/String Concertino level. Enjoy our Culminating performance.
V – FULL ORCHESTRA
This group of musicians met on ZOOM
Mondays 6:15pm – 7:30pm
This program will included weekly zoom rehearsals that focused on chosen virtual full orchestra video repertoire. The students in this orchestra played at the Symphony/Philharmonic level.
