Your Financial Gift

When you support the Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra with your financial gifts, you sustain:

  • A well-respected educational orchestra program that brings students together from over 80 schools and 5 counties.
  • Need-based scholarships so that every student who has a passion for music is given the opportunity to join TMYO.
  • Weekly rehearsals for four orchestral ensembles.
  • Sectionals where students break into groups and receive training specifically for their instruments from Tampa area music professionals.
  • Formal concerts in the Winter and Spring.
  • Pops Concert featuring popular favorites.
  • Concerto Competitions where the finalists participate in Masterclasses that all students are invited to attend, and the winner performs with TMYO’s top orchestra.
  • A Chamber Music program where chamber ensembles receive professional coaching, regular rehearsals, and performance opportunities.
  • A Side-By-Side Concert where TMYO’s Symphony Orchestra students join The Florida Orchestra’s professional musicians to rehearse and perform.
  • Outreach Concerts where TMYO student ambassadors perform in various venues throughout the community.
  • Student mentorship program where advanced student musicians learn skills to assist younger musicians.
  • Summer String Camp for a week of training and music-related activities.
  • New Music Commission Program where students have an opportunity to perform the music of 21st century composers commissioned by TMYO.

You can make your gift by check, credit card, online giving, and corporate matches. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
