TMYO Summer String Camp
The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra presents our first TMYO Summer String Camp! This camp will give musicians an opportunity to enrich their lives by providing an immersive musical experience. It will allow young musicians to build community through musical interactions in a fun, exciting, and encouraging environment.
One Week Camp
Spend a week engaging in an immersive orchestral strings experience. Learn new skills and become a more well-rounded musician in a fun and encouraging environment. Hurry — Space will be limited.

In addition to a summer orchestra session, this camp will offer several elective courses, including but not limited to Sectionals- Work with Hillsborough Community College, local area professionals, and TMYO coaches.
Improv Orchestra– Learn how to play and create arrangements by ear using only lyrics and a bass line. Bring those new skills together as a team.
Conducting- Learn the basics of conducting and discover a deeper understanding of leading an ensemble World Drumming -Participate in an energetic and interactive African drumming session.
